I am a direct descendant of Samuel Bradford - my line from him is as
follows:

Samuel Bradford b abt 1736 - Snow Hill MD, father of

James b Feb 19, 1780 Snow Hill Md, father of

Samuel C. Bradford b Aug 18 1807 Bradfordsville KY, father of

Edward Bradford b 1844 Glasgow KY, father of


Samuel Comer Bradford b Apr 13, 1868 Barren Co, KY father of

Herschel (Hershel) Plumley Bradford, b Sep 22, 1909, Glasgow, KY

who was my father.

Has anyone had any success tracing Samuel Bradford’s lineage/ancestry?

I have the book "The Bradford Descendants" by Dr. Vance Arthur Bradford, but
of course, like so many other Bradfords would like to trace my roots back
even further, if possible.

Does anyone have written proof that Samuel Bradford was related to Governor
Bradford?
