First of all, forget Gov. Bradford of Plymouth Colony.

Secondly, I think I've found your line. Richard Bradford came to Charles
City County, VA, c1656. He married Frances Taylor and died sometime after
1716.

His son, John Bradford Sr. m. Rebecca Pace, whose line goes back to the
original Jamestown settlers. They had at least two sons, John Jr. and
Nathaniel, both of whom settled in Halifax Co., NC. John Jr. is the Col.
John of my earlier e-mail and my direct line.Nathaniel died January 1757.
His will was proved in Edgecombe Co., NC, the following month. It mentions
his wife, Sarah, two daughters, Mary & Patience, and two sons, John &
Nathaniel Jr. The two sons are said to have moved to Wilkes Co., GA.

Hope this helps.

BTW, when you reply to a message on a genealogy list, make sure your reply
goes to the list as well as to the person you're replying to. That way
everyone can benefit.
