Dear Dana:

According to his will, written and proved in 1787, Col. John Bradford of
Halifax, Co., NC, had a son named Richard. Undocumented information suggests
his mother was Col. John's second wife, Dorothea Burgess, and that his
(Richard's) wife was Ann Esmond.
