I have not seen a copy of the will, only a trascription provided me by another researcher. This will can be found in Graham, North Carolina, the county seat for Alamance. Alamance had been set off from old Orange County by 1849. Alamance County is just south of Caswell, and the part in which David resided was a very short distance from the Caswell County line. I grew up in this area, and people who lived there considered the border to be nothing but a sign on a road.
