Hello, I may be off base completely however, other have pointed me in this direction.

Regarding your Bradfords, do you have any connections to the Lord surname. I am piecing together info that may connect my family to yours.

How, I have a Stephen Lord who married a Hannah Emmons. They had a son Bradford Holmes Lord. The Bradford and Holmes names gave carried down through my family. Both of the se names are uncommon as we cannot get back any further than Stephen. Information gather from others has suggested that my Bradford's name may come from the Bradfords that arrived on the Mayflower and other familes that have inter mingled. I would appreciate any help that you may be able to over.
