This account contains the reference to Thomas Bradford, son of Thomas Bradford 1786 Granville, married to the daughter of Jacob Garrison which is the piece that has led many down the wrong path. Thomas Bradford who married Martha Garrison is the son of Thomas Bradford Sr who died in Daviess County in 1823. If there was another daughter of Jacob Garrison who married a different Thomas Bradford, however unlikely, this information would be correct for that line, but not for those of us who are descended from Thomas Bradford Sr and those of you who are descended from his son Thomas b.1780 in Orange County, North Carolina and d. 1841 in Greene County, Indiana. Also Martha Garrison was not deceased when the $500 was left by Jacob Garrison to Thomas Bradford in 1829-1832. Still there is some informatio contained in the account provided by John Fox to help elminiate the others. The land deeded to Thomas Bradford Junior of Orange County on Lick Creek is in the nothr east part of Or!
ange County. Our Thomas and David lived on and around Haw Creek which is west of Hillsborough and lies in the part of Orange County that later became Alamance County. The Lick Creek clan went to South Carolina and were gone by about 1770.
