I have been fortunate to obtain the will and Probate Record of Joseph
Bradford, b. 1751 to Joshua and Hannah Bradford.
A copy of the entire Probate can be obtained from Kennebec County
Probate Court, email address:
The cost is $20 for the entire Probate Record and search
fee.

The Probate begins::


To all People to Whom these Presents
shall come The Honorable Daniel Corry, Esquire, Judge of the Probate of
Wills, &c. in the County of Kennebec within the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts, sendeth Greeting.

Knowe Ye, That on the ninth Day of March, Anno Domini 1813, the
Instrument hereunto annexed (purporting the last Will and Testament of
Joseph Bradford late of Farmington in said County, ______(unreadable),
deceased was presented for Probate by Abigail Bradford, the Executrix
therein named; then present Jonathon Cushman, L Eben Eaton two of the
Witnesses thereto subscribed, who made Oath, that they saw said Testator
sign, seal and heard him declare the said Instrument to be his last Will
and Testament, and that they together with James Cushman subscribed
their names together as Witnesses to the Execution thereof in the said
Testators Presence; and that he was then (to the best of their Judgment)
of sound and disposing mind ; wherefore

I do prove, approve, and allow of the said Instrument as the last Will
and Testament of the before named Deceased, and do commit the
Administration thereof in all Matters the same concerning, and of his
Estate whereof he died seized and possessed in said County, unto Abigail
Bradford the before named Executrix, well and faithfully to execute the
said Will, and to administer the Estate of the said Deceased according
thereto; who accepted the said Trust, and gave bond to me through and
inventory of the Deceased Estate. and to render an Account (upon Oath)
of these Proceedings, when thereunto lawfully required.

In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal of Office,
the Day and Year above written.
