Bradford, John (June 6, 1749-Mar. 20, 1830); b. in Prince William Co., Va. First printer of Kentucky. Founder, "The Kentucky Gazette," Aug. 11, 1787. He printed "The Kentucke Almanac" (1788). See Willard Rouse Jillson's "The First Printing in Kentucky" (1936).
