I'm trying to trace the following line backwards and am having a spectacular lack of success, can anyone help?

William Bradford, b. 1732, had at least 1 son:
John Bradford, b. 1777, m. Hannah, was living in Yancey Co., NC in 1840, d. after 1850, had at least 2 sons:
Samuel, b.1814, NC, m. Elizabeth Pate, 1833, d.1863; and William, b. 1816, NC.

Does this look familiar to anyone?
