Dear Harold . . . I own an orig. copy of Bradford's Hist. of Plimoth
Plantation printed 1898 Wright & Potter, Boston. I also have an orig edition
of Ancient Landmarks of Plyouth by Davis. This were part of my great
grandmother's genealogy library and used by her in connection with research
1870-1900. She was Sarah H. Butler Palmer (1834-1911), her father was Eben
Butler (1808-1865), son of Benjamin Butler (1776-1855, have great photo of
him) & Hulda Bradford (1781- ). Hulda was direct desc. of Gov. Bradford via
two gr children: Israel Bradford and Elisha Bradford, 1st cousins, whose
children Joshua (son of Israel) and Hannah (dau. of Elisha) married one
another.

In any event, these volumes and the corresp. and reasearch of Sarah have long
been the main source of all of my information. She was a member of the
Mayflower Society, but I have not persued that. Maybe some day. I have all
of her orig. corresp. and letters.
