Today I became one happy searcher!! I found and today received the last
piece of documentation on Joseph Bradford, son of Joshua Bradford.
Although common conception is that he died in 1811 in Quincy, ILL., I
could find no record of this. I did find Joseph Bradford (m. Abigail
Sterling) in Farmington, Kennebec Co., MA.! Today I received a copy of
his will and the Probate Records which were filed Mar 1813, supposedly
three months after his death. This now completes my line back to Gov.
Bradford !!! Only took 3 years to obtain the vital records of each
ancestor, so it can be done!!!! Don't give up, just check with the last
known living place to check on records. It paid off for me.
