There was a Nathaniel Bradford in Sumter District, South Carolina, who may have been the brother of John Angel Bradford that you mentioned. He married Sarah Howard in about 1800, and had at least five children: Martha (m. William Boone), Sarah, Warren J., Louisa, and Heli Nathaniel (m. Elizabeth Ann Jennings).

I am trying to trace the origins of my ancestor Foster Bradford, born 15 Oct 1800 in South Carolina, who appears on the 1850 census in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, with his second wife (Ann Kennard) and the children from both his marriages (his first was to Mary Singletary). I note with interest your reference to brothers Thomas and Henry, who came with the first Nathaniel to South Carolina. Is anything known about their descendants?
