Can anyone tell me anything about either the ancestry of, or descendants
of William BRADFORD and Elizabeth COBB, who were probably married in New
York or New Jersey in the early 1800s? One of the children is likely
John Harrison BRADFORD [b. 1818 in New York City, married Caroline WARD,
later lived in California]. Another is probably Sarah Theresa BRADFORD
[b. 1813 New York City, married James Harvey CRANE in New Jersey, later
lived in California]. It is possible that this William BRADFORD was a
fairly close relative of Daniel Flint BRADFORD and his brother Putnam F.
BRADFORD who are said to have Massachusetts, New York, and California ties.
