Message Board Post:
Samuel Bradford, and his son Samuel Bradford Jr, and his son-in-law Jacob Flint, were all involved in the Revolutionary War. I just received films of Hillsborough New Hampshire deed book 25 and find these five deeds on pages 76-79 which will be useful to people tracing this family. I am descended from Jacob and Elizabeth [Bradford] Flint and would like to hear from others researching this family.
1. p. 76-77: Samuel Brandford Jr of Hillsboro for 40 pounds paid by his honored mother Mary Bradford of Hillsboro, widow, conveys his rights and title to the estate of his honored father Samuel Bradford. Signed April 11 1777 (witnesses Jacob Flint and Elizabeth Bradford, who were married October 1777)
2. p. 77-78: We Jacob Flint and Elizabeth Flint of Hillsboro (same deal, mother Mary widow, father Samuel) convey rights to the estate. Signed November 26 1777, witnessed Samuel Bradford Jr. and Andrew Bradford.
3. p. 78: We, Nehemiah Wilkins and Mary Wilkins of Hillsborough (same deal), convey rights to the widowed mother Mary. Signed June 2 1777, witnessed Samuel and Timothy Bradford
4. p. 78-79: Andrew Bradford of Hillsborough (same deal), signed December 1782, witnesses Lucy How and Enoch Kelly
5. p. 79: I Timothy Bradford of Hillsboro (same deal), signed 3 June 1777, witnesses Samuel Bradford Junr. (other line empty)
