Message Board Post:
Dear Phyllis, Maybe you know something I don't. My great aunt gave me notes
in 1980, which I'm sorting through; 30 years work. She was a Hale, her
husband a Bradford (as was my grandmother). Her notes(and lots of references
to early Bradford stuff if you're interested): Capt. John Bradford move to
Davidson Co. TN in 1810, m. Elizabeth Blackwell who died April 24, 1835 in
South Nashville, "Woodstock". They had Henry J. Bradford b. 1832, m 1857 to
Sophronia McSwain b.1836 in Paris,TN, d. 1874. Three children: John, Anna
and Haynes Isaac Bradford (my g.grandfrather), who moved from Paris to
Monett, MO. The notes are confusing. Help me out if you have other. NOTE:
Two spellings in family: Haynes and Haines.
