"Your" Ephraim Bradford was a brother of my ancestor David Bradford. Both were born around 1680 and were grandsons of Governor William Bradford of the Mayflower.

"My" Ephraim was a great-grandson of David and a great-grandnephew of "your" Ephraim. "My" Ephraim was born in 1785 about a century after yours. I am the great-great-great grandson of this Ephraim. This makes us roughly 8th cousins.
