Was so excited to hear from you. I can only tell you that we were small children. But I do remember very well. Your mom visited my mother and father quite often after she remarried.
Of course my parents are gone and I remember your father passed away when You were very little. I remembe his funeral at the Methodist Church in Huntersville. My father and your father were lst cousins, but we all called everyone Aunt and Uncle because of the closeness. Carol and Betty Jane I never hear from. Kinda sad for Betty and I grew up together and dated together all thru H.School. She lives in Thomsaville and Carol somewhere up in the mountains. Hurd Jr. their brother died about 20 years ago, but his children and my nieces and nephews are good friends.
There will be a Bradford reunion the 12th of August at Ramah Church. Not too many that come. Mostly my fathers family.
Not too many of us older ones left either. I lost 2 of my brothers just 2 and 3 years ago. Still have 1 left, but he has colon cancer. Hopefully they have it under control.
I lived in Jacksonville Beach for 18 years. Left their in '82.
Have lived here in Manassas, Va. since. Lots of hard years have gone by, but still have pretty good health and reasonably sane. What more could one ask???
This is great, and just hope you have the time to let me hear of your family. My brothers and I talked of you and Little Bernard often and wondered what and where you were. You didn't mention him. Hope all is well there.
