Hello,
I am looking for any information about Jewel R. Bradford and Rev. D.
(David?) P. Bradford of Meridian, Mississippi circa 1899--1920.
Rev. Bradford was pastor at the East End Methodist Church in Meridian, but
he may have also travelled to other churches in Mississippi along the N.O.&
NE RR from Meridian to New Orleans.
Jewel R. Bradford is listed in the Chrisitan Science Journal of that time
period as a Practitioner. She came first to Meridian in 1899 then moved on
to Hattiesburg and later Jackson.
Jewel may have been Rev. Bradford's sister-in-law, but I have no evidence
to support this.
Any information anyone has about both/either of these individuals would be
most appreciated.
I am doing resesearch about Christian Science Practioners in Mississippi
and their roots in Methodism.
Thank you very much, Ann Mulloy Ashmore, Hattiesburg, MS
