Our family also "guessed" that we might be descended from William Bradford of
Mayflower fame. However, recently I've come to believe that our Bradford
family descended from another Bradford family who settled in eastern Virginia
quite early, perhaps soon after the Mayflower expedition. Much information is
available about this family, including their moves towards Missouri.
