My Bradford connection is as follows:
Susan Catherine Bradford (1864 TX - 1943 CA) married Noah Houston
McCuistion.
Her father is Joseph Bradford (1832 MO - 1868 TX ) married Ann Eliza
Malone.
His father is William Bradford (1797 VA - 1863 TX) married first
Catherine Jane Carberry.
His father is Adam Bradford (1775 MD - 1849 MO) married Nancy Cole.
His father is Samuel Bradford married Sarah _____.

Joseph Bradford died in the Guadalupe Mountains on the way from Texas to
California. His death occurred in the middle of a battle with Indians,
but was not due to the fight. He was buried there in the middle of the
wagon circle. A wagon train which can through the same area a few days
later found Joseph's body which had been dug up, scalped and had a spear
in it.

I have no proof that Adam is the father of my William.... that info came
from LDS records. Hopefully some one on this list will be able to
confirm or disprove this connection.

Family tradition says we are descended from Governor William Bradford,
but that may be wishful thinking.
