The James Bradford, Sr. family was discussed in a book, The Tenmile Country
and it's Pioneering Families. James was the son of Robert and Margaret
Bradford, who were supposedly born in Northern Ireland. There are several
binders of information on this family who later migrated to Ohio, Kentucky
and Missouri at the Waynesburg, PA. library, it's genelogical area.. There
is no evidence that this Bradford family is related to William Bradford
of Plymouth, Ma. There is a possible link to some Bradfords in Prince George's
County, MD. but that has yet to be verified. The JAmes Bradford farmhouse,
built in latter 1700's, is still there in Greene County as is the Bradford
Cemetery.
