Surname: NC Bradfords
-------------------------

There is a family of Bradfords in NC, who originated in Va with Richard
Bradford who owned FluerDue plantation. The most memorable name of the
sons who came to NC is Philemon.
I did a lot of research on this family, since I thought my Bradfords might
be connected; however, I have been unable to prove a connection.

A man named David Bradford has written a very definitive book on these
people. I can't remember the title of the book; however, National Genealogical
Society has the book in their library. I did have his E-mail address, but
my E-mail crashed and it was lost. These people were in Halifax County
and at one time in Edgecombe Co. NC. There is another family in NC in Orange
Co., so you might want to check them out. There was a branch of Philemons
family who immigrated to TN.

I have been looking for my Thomas Bradford's parents for the past 10 years
with no luck, so I really wish you luck.
