Did you ever find any additional info on your Sallie Bradford? I notice
they lived in Gibson Co TN. John TUGGLE married Sarah BRADFORD (daughter
of Philemon & Elizabeth). The Bradfords, Tuggles and Gills came from Granville
Co NC to Smith Co TN in the early 1800's. Some of them and their descendants
moved on to Gibson Co TN. Several children of John TUGGLE moved to Gibson
Co TN according to his Rev. War pension file. They were: Fannie Anderson,
Sally Sarah Alvis, and Mary Polly Fuller.

>From the book "Smith Co TN Wills 1803-1896" p. 29, by Sue Maggart,Carthage,
TN library. His father's will was dated 17 Mar 1823. Porbated May 1823.

Names sons: Harris, Thomas, Henry.
Daughters: Betsey, Polly, Fanney, Patsy, Sally, & Nancy.
Witnesses: John Shaw & Joshua Pruet.
Executors: Harris B., Thomas, Henry Tuggle.
I do show Sarah Tuggle living in the
1830 census. Wonder why she wasn't named in the will?

Rev. War pension file # 10745 stated he lived near the line between VA
& NC. It says he died at age 78 in Smith Co TN.
