Hello everyone. I'm back from vacation and ready to get things started. This weeks word is ....Kentucky. Below are the instructions, please read it, especially if you've just recently (in the past month) joined the list.

WHAT TO POST:
If you have any info on a person with the surname of the list who is from KY, whether directly or not to you, post the info and their line (if you have more than just them) to the list. This might be a census entry, birth entry, marriage entry, etc. Whatever you have. Don't worry about it if there in not much info.

WHERE TO SEND THE POST TO:
Do not just hit reply to this message because if you do, it will just be sent to me and not to the list and I will not forward your message unless it's a special case of some sort. To send your post, create a new email message addressed to where SURNAME replaces the name of the list (ex: if you are on the BLACK list, you would send the message to , BRADFORD list would be , etc.) SPECIAL NOTE: A lot of people who subscribe to the list add the subscription address to their address book rather than the posting address. (sub. address has "-") If you are one who has done this. Please add the posting address (without the "-request") to your address book as well. If you send the message to the subscription address, it will not work.

POST DIDN'T WORK??:
If you sent your message but haven't seen it within the next few days, try again and make sure the address is correct. If you still haven't seen it, email me directly and I'll look into it and try to get it fixed.

At the bottom of the rootsweb page there is a list of tips. Check it out if your not sure what to post.
