Hello all,

I’m new to this list & fairly new to genealogy so if anyone can help me
with the following Bradfords please let me know. I am working on a tree
for a John Bradford who was born in Yorkshire, England about 1745. He
worked in a silk mill for a while then came to America to settle in VA. He
owned land on Patterson Creek in what was then called Hampshire County. He
joined the 8th Virginia Regiment in 1776 & served in the Revolutinary War.
He married a Miss Strouse & they had 11 children. I need any info on any
of those children. I only know one of them by name.
The one I know was James B. Bradford, born June 25, 1800 & married
Crestine Leeper in 1825. They had 8 children & I need info on them as
well. One of them was a daughter named Margaret who was born in 1833 in
Ohio. She had a daughter (Martha) out of wedlock & I’d like to know the
name of the Father.
If anyone has any info on any of these names or anyone else in the
Bradford line that moved from Yorkshire, England>VA>OH>IL please let me
know. Thanks!
