I am trying to sort out these folks and the Ft Sullivan book by the Charleston DAR
lists those captured in the 1780 siege of Charleston. I have been working on
trying to match the names with the pre 1790 and 1790 and 1800 census of Sumter to
see which of the men were in the Battle and who lived near whom. I also note in
the Plantation records that are available for the Singleton plantation have
several informative lists of the Jockey club of the High Santee (Bradford
Springs) I suggest that you access these records The LDS library has a set on
Micro film. Bradford Springs was owned 1st by Thomas Bradford and then by
Nathaniel Bradford this family I believe was was the same one that moved to Wilkes
and Hancock Co, GA bu 1786 and on to Clarke co AL in 1815 , but I need to prove
it. I will try to get the original records of the Patriots
