I am quite convinced that the Thomas who was here was a friend of Gen. Sumter and
neighbor and his bro. Robert could not write which means he could be the right family . I
checked the wills on file at the court house. The family was methodist which fits and the
only fly now is how to connect this Thomas to the one in GA. One of the Bradford ladies
here indicated that Hosea is a family name and maybe the Hosea in GA does fit here too.

I beleive the main connection is the fact that Jeremiah Brown and The Singleton Brothers
were at Charleston 1780 and were captured with Thomas Bradford. Brown was son in law to
Richard Bradford and the Singletons are several times bro in laws and cousins
