Have been reading several items relating to Nathaniel Bradford of
Oglethorpe Co GA & thought I'd send this item along:

Jackson Co GA Deed BK D, p 115
Indenture of 2 Mar 1804 Nathaniel Bradford of the Co of Oglethorpe sold to
George Pettifrew of Co of Franklin for $1,000; land in Co of Jackson
formerely Franklin on the Oconee River 287 1/2, originally granted to John
Segret on the 9 Apr 1792 then by deed to N. Bradford on 16 Jan 1794.

I am researching the George Bradford line of Orange Co NC; George Bradford
moved his family to Jackson Co GA about 1804. Does anyone know if George
connects to N. Bradford of Oglethorpe? I can't see it with the research
I've done to date.
