second wife)

1850 Oct. 20 Jefferson M. Bradford sold to Martin Childers "his part of
the dowerage belonging to the estate of Joseph Bradford whereon the
widow and relict of deceased now resides"(Oglethorpe county deed book 5,
page 11)

note:
No Joseph Bradford marriages match for possible mothers of
Jefferson.found 2 (not right Joseph) one to Mary B. Horton 11-26- 1840
Crawford Cty, GA.
other to Nancy G. Stallings 12-22-1837 in Upson County, Ga.

Just for your knowledge:

There is a fountain that sits in front of the old post office in
Carlton, Ga. that has some Bradford names inscribed in stone in it.My
aunt was asked to send $25.00 for "each plate" and they preferred
"couples". It is called "The Memory Garden".My Aunt K sent them $125.
and had them put in 5 couples:
herself and her husband Katherine B.and Mose Gordon
Martha W. and Dr. Phillip R. Bradford (my gggrandfather)
Nona R. and Phil Bradford (her brother)
Willie Belle L. and Dr. Reese Bradford (my ggrandfather)
Cordelia W. and Dr. Phillip R. Bradford ( my gggrandfather and second
wife)
She did this back in 1981. I dont know what other Bradford names , if
any, are there.
