Good evening to the BRADFORD list members,
I have put together the family of the subject ELISHA BRADFORD from
several sources, and am having trouble believing it.
I show that ELISHA was born about 1669, in Kingston, MA, son of
JOSEPH and JAEL (HOBART) BRADFORD. He died June 16, 1747, in Kingston.
He married (1) HANNAH COLE, daughter of JAMES and MARY (TILSON) COLE,
January 25, 1706/07. HANNAH was born about 1666, and died August 15,
1718, in Plymouth, MA. According to what I have put together, ELISHA
and HANNAH had no children in spite of eleven years of marriage. That
is hard to believe.
According to my data, ELISHA made up for lost time with his second
marriage to BATHSHEBA LeBROCK/BROCK. BATHSHEBA was born May 21, 1703,
in Scituate, MA, daughter of FRANCIS and SARAH (HOBART) LeBROCK/BROCK.
ELISHA and BATHSHEBA were married September 07, 1718, in Plymouth, MA,
which is hard to believe since HANNAH wasn't even cold. I show that
ELISHA and BATHSHEBA had children from about 1719 until 1745, two years
before his death, and when he was about 76 years old. If what I have is
factual, I take my hat off to him.
If there is anyone on the list who can either verify, or correct
what I have, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
