Hi,

Your names look like the list of names that are officially part of Clan
Pollock. I found the Pollock Tartan at<A HREF="http://www.house-of-
tartan.scotland.net/house/default.htp">Tartan Finder 1.0</A>
<http://www.house-of-tartan.scotland.net/house/default.htp>; and at
<A HREF="http://www.tartans.scotland.net/">Tartans of Scotland - Scottish
Tartan ...</A> <http://www.tartans.scotland.net/>;. Kinda fun to see. By the
way, joining Clan Pollock is easy and inexpensive.

Also, I have somewhat the same problem with names in that I am looking for
John Polk Hazard, related to President Polk. The family "hated the
president's politics so much that they turned the name around." Whose name?
John's? Should he have been John Hazard Polk? Or did this happen the
generation before and his father, rather than being surnamed Hazard was
actually a Polk?

And I too live "out in the country."
