(signed) Andrew SAVAGE

the reader should note:

1. the place of residence of Andrew SAVAGE, Sybil Hill, Dublin Co
Ireland

2. That James Savage parents were deceased and Andrew Savage , his
Uncle was acting as guardian.

3. James Savage was the second son of James Savage. and Elizabeth
Keenan/Kenan Savage.
.

4. His mother's maiden name was Keenan or Kennan

5. James Savage , Jr was educated at Balldoyle, and read Virgil,
probably in Latin which would indicate he was well educated.

6. His father was a merchant and in the 1780 Dublin city directory
(Toms) there was listed, one James Savage , Linen -Draper, # 9 Bride
Street, Dublin. This was the only listing time from 1780-1800 that
James Savage was listed. It is assumed he died bet 1780-1794 (date of
affidavit where he and his wife are described as Deceased).

7. Listed in 1786, -1795 City Directory, was, Kennan , Chr.(Christopher)

Linen -Draper, #129 Bride Street, Dublin
noted that James Savage only appears in 1780 and then Kennan appears
after on the same street could he have taken over the business from his
Bro in Law after his sister and bro in law died , perhaps in an
epidemic.

8. William Beauman appears under " attorneys", in the Dublin, Ireland
City Directory for the year , 1796, as W. Beauman K. C. E., # 22
Harcourt St and in 1798, on Sackville St, Dublin. One, Christopher
Beauman is listed as Judge in 1792, 1796 and other years on Harcourt
street. It is noted that there is no record of entry by Wm Beauman to
the Society of Kings Inns and he is noted as "struck off" the rolls in
1834. No file could be found for him other than the affidavit
transcribed and the librarian at the Kings inn, indicated "struck off"
usually was "disbarred " for some wrong act.

10. There was no listing in the city directories or Society of Kings
Inns, for James Savage, Jr as Atto. From 1780-1805 and there for the
assumption must be made he never was admitted as a full member. It is
assumed he emigrated in abt 1780 and can be documented in Georgia in
1806.

11. The only listings for James Savage, Sr, was in 1780 and for, Andrew
SAVAGE was 1784 and 1786 where he was listed as 1784--Savage, Andrew
--Gold and Silver Lace man, #21 Parliament ST (Dublin) 1786– Savage,
Andrew ---Hatte and Lace man , #21 Parliament ST, (Dublin)

The conclusions that can be drawn from the above is , That Andrew and
James Savage were of the same Merchant class and were in related trades.

They were in the same place at the same time and the place of residence
was close enough to assume we have the sane persons as in the affidavit,

and that they were brothers. It is possible that James Savage and
Christopher Kennan were related by marriage , due to the same general
area for their shops, Bride street and the same trade , it would be
logical that James Savage may have met and married Elizabeth Kennan
through his business connections. The comparison of James Savage's
signature on the affidavit , to those of his Hancock Co, GA and Clarke
Co, AL samples will possibly prove he is one and the same man. The
family story of "he was educated at Trinity college in Dublin Ireland"
may or not be proven, that he was
apprenticed to an attorney and this is where he obtained the knowledge

to file suits in Georgia in 1810-1820 and then serve as clerk of the
circuit court in Clarke and then Sumter co, Al, is proven.

James Savage, Jr emmigrated to the USA abt 1799 -1805 , his uncle is
dead by 1799 and a will is on file in Dublin. The first document for
