I honestly do not know if the same family names is purely coincidental or not,
but I could not help but respond to your posting above.

I am a descendant of a John King of northern old Orange County, now Alamance
County, NC. John died in the late 1700's leaving a will that was witnessed by
an R. Bradford and a Thomas Bradford. Several of the King family both male
and female were married to members of the same Davison(Davidson) family. I do
not have the names of Hugh Bradford nor Kizziah Davidson in my data, but
there are also other names that I am sure that I do not have on these
families, as well. I will be glad to send you what I have on these families,
if you are interested.
