Subject: [BRADFORD-L] update for the word of the week

Hello lists. I have seen some of the posts so far on the "uncommon
common" names and I think some people have misunderstood what it is I
was trying to get people to post. I didn't mean for you to post your
most uncommon name, I was trying to get people (which most of you have
basically so far) to post uncommon names that reoccur in your lines.
Like the example I used with Jabez, which is not that common, the line
started out with Jabez, his son was also Jabez(2), and the grandson of
Jabez(2) was also Jabez. This is just an example of how a name is
uncommon but common in a particular line and it can make it easier to
tie into with someone else. I just started out with Jabez(2) but
happened across the others and was eventually able to figure out they
were related, but if they had a different name other than Jabez, say
Thomas, I would have completely over looked them. That is what the
point of the current word of the week is. Sorry for the confusion.
Also, it would be helpful to give info such as dates and places with the
people, not just their names. Thanks and good luck.
