Hello new cousin Elaine!
I was so excited when I read your posting. The Orilla SHERWOOD, descendant
of Gov. William BRADFORD who you list below, and John BONNEY are my 3rd Great
Grandparents. I descend from Hannah BRADFORD's marriage to Ebenezer SHERWOOD
through this daughter Orilla. I am a member of the Society of Mayflower
Descendants and can provide you with any documentation you should need if you
do not already have it. There are two descents from Gov. BRADFORD through
Hannah and her daughter Orilla....one from Gov. BRADFORD's son Joseph, as you
list below, and the other through Gov. BRADFORD's son Major William BRADFORD.
Hannah and Orilla's direct Mayflower lines also go back to John
ALDEN/Priscilla MULLIN (her father William MULLIN) through their daughter
Elizabeth, William BREWSTER through son Love, and Richard WARREN. Orilla
SHERWOOD married John BONNEY and there is another direct Mayflower line from
John BONNEY back to Peter BROWNE and a second line from John ALDEN/Priscilla
MULLIN through son Joseph. I have these lines documented and can provide
these also.
