I just checked the old edition of Mayflower Families in Progress, which
lists 4-5 generations of descendants from William Bradford (the
governor), who was born in 1589/90. The only Thomas Bradford listed is
his grandson who was born in 1658 and died in 1731. This Thomas had 2
wives, Ann Raymond and Katherine ???. None of his sons was named
Thomas, but his son James (from whom I am descended) had a son Thomas
born 11/14/1712 in Canterbury, CT, and his son James also has a son
Thomas born 9/3/1724 in Lebanon, CT. Given the family penchant for
naming sons after fathers, you may want to check out these families.
Your Thomas would have been in the 6th generation if descended from
either of these. If you could find out more about him - where born,
died, etc., I could probably provide more information.
