Gosh, I am sorry that my roll call genealogy came out so poorly when it
transmitted. It was really hard to read. Okay, as I said, the oldest FOR
SURE Bradford of my line was Willliam Bradford who died in Orange Co in
1820. I have worked on this lineage until I was really confused. I have
tried and tried to connect my William whose son was David Bradford Jun
married to Elizabeth and who died in Alamance (Orange) in 1856 to the
lineage of Philamon Bradford in Granville,NC. They just don't tie together,
yet there are many many intermarriages of Birds, Hamiltons, and Bradfords in
both lines. Maybe someone out there has the connection, but let me share
with the list some research I came across last week in Salt Lake City.

The researcher is Terry Moyer in Salt Lake City. His work shows that
William Bradford was born in 1708 in Ireland. He was married to a Rachel,
born 1712 in Ireland. Their son, William, was born in 1734 in Ireland,
married about 1755 to a Hamilton, born about 1732 in Ireland. Their son
David Bradford was born about 1762 in Ireland and his spouse was Margaret
Hamilton. Is Mr. Moyer part of the list and if so, would he pleasse respond
with his sources? Is anyone on the list familiar with this lineage?

Okay, but another researcher shows a George Bradford, b March 24, 1743,
Virginia, married June 10, 1774, to Mary (Hamilton?) Born July 13, 1756 in
North Carolina. George died July 3, 1812 in Jackson Co, Georgia; Mary on
September 10, 1854, Jackson Co, Georgia. Their children were: William
Bradford, Born May 15, 1775 in Orange Co, North Carolina; David Bradford,
Born Mar 8, 1777 in Orange Co; Archibald Bradford born Mar 2, 1780 Orange
Co, Married Margaret Carson on April 15, 1805, died on June 30, 1870;George
Bradford, Born Dec 31, 1785 in Orange; John Bradford B 1790 in Orange; James
S. Bradford B 1796 in Orange, married Mary Ann Cook on March 24, 1817 in
Jackson Co, GA, died on April 28, 1878 in Melton Co, Georgia and Nancy
Bradford born Jan 10, 1798.

Now, cousins, I am really confused again. My William who died in 1820 I
believe had a brother David who had a son George. If this is my lineage as
given above, the timeline seems a bit off. I know that David Bradford Jr
was married on Nov 12, 1808 in Orange. Census dating puts his birth about
1783 through extrapolation from four different census. This William
bradford was born on May 15, 1775.....just too young to be my ancestor.

Does anyone out there have any light to shed here?
Your help is appreciated!!!
Toni
