If there is only 1 David Bradford in 1755-it's amazing. They are probably 1st cousins. I have most of that line available in Family Tree Maker. E-mail me if you want it.

Both have a wife named Mary I believe. I think one is my ancestor, but
don't know which one. There is a possibility they are the same person, he
just moved around a lot. I had David looked up in the taxpayers book:

Bradford, David Granville 1755
Bradford, David Orange 1755

Now, in 1760-1766 I had a David that I know was in NC who was originally
from PA. David had a wife named Mary LANCASTER. The only place in NC that
I know for sure they were in was in Cabarrus/Mecklenburg Co. (at the time,
Poplar Tent, about 20 miles out of Charlotte I believe was in Mecklenburg,
but now in Cabarrus)

Dear Erin,

There was one David Bradford in Orange County of those that I have researched
who had the following notation in my notes:

- David Bradford
Son of his present wife, Mary. Married Merryan Hamilton 2 August 1783,
William Bradford, bm.

He was the son of Philimon Bradford as I recall, who was married last to a
Mary.
