I need someone's help. There are 2 David Bradford's in NC at the same time.
Both have a wife named Mary I believe. I think one is my ancestor, but
don't know which one. There is a possibility they are the same person, he
just moved around a lot. I had David looked up in the taxpayers book:

Bradford, David Granville 1755
Bradford, David Orange 1755

Now, in 1760-1766 I had a David that I know was in NC who was originally
from PA. David had a wife named Mary LANCASTER. The only place in NC that
I know for sure they were in was in Cabarrus/Mecklenburg Co. (at the time,
Poplar Tent, about 20 miles out of Charlotte I believe was in Mecklenburg,
but now in Cabarrus)

Also, there was a Mary Bradford:

This leads me to wonder if this was my Mary LANCASTER as David died between
1769-1779 most likely. Between 1751-1760 I have not found a record of my
David BRADFORD, but he moved to Baltimore Co. in about 1766 and his son
James William BRADFORD was born in PA in about 1762. My Mary was listed in
the 1790 census of NC in Mecklenburg Co. and there was a David and David,
Jr. listed for Granville and another David listed in Orange. My David had a
son David who I would think would be listed in the 1790 census as he would
have been about 20, but, there is a discrepancy in the census for Mary. I
know this is my Mary and her son James William is also listed in the same
county (he is my ancestor). Under Mary, it is listed that there are 2 sons
over 16 and one under 16 living with her 3 white females. As far as I know,
she only had 4 children, all sons and one died in 1784. I am assuming the
others are either children I didn't know about or relatives of some sort.
Given all of this, can I assume that there were 5 David BRADFORDs in NC all
at the same time? I'd appreciate any help here.
