I am working on trying to connect the Thomas Bradford and his Bros,
Richard , and John who were in Sumter co Sc, circ 1765 -1810. Thomas
Bradford owned a place called Bradford's Spring, A MINERAL SPRING Thomas
sold lots around this spring. This spring passed in to the ownership of
Nathaniel Bradford abt 1807.
the Bradfords were associated with the Singletons, Moores(Isham and Wm.)
and there was a James Pittman near them in the 1800 Sumter co Census.
Does any one know of a connection to The John , Thomas and Ann (thought
to be the widow of Rev soldier, Maybe Richard) all in Baldwin or Putnam
co GA circ 1810-1830. John and Ann lived next to each other in Eatonton
GA . Ann Had a son named William Thomas Bradford bn in 1812 putnam and
died in Harris Co GA in 1845. John died in Putnam co GA , 1819, and his
will listed "his two trusty friends" Coleman Pendeleton and Abner
Veasley who he tasked to take care of his kids , Peggy, James , Joseph,
Robertson and Andrew Bradford. ( James Sandefer Marries Margaret (Peggy
) Bradford dau of John Bradford on. 8/9/1825 in Eatonton GA.
Thomas Bradford B 1757 was involved in numerous lawsuits and land
transactions in Middle GA several with James Pittman , was Pittman the
same as James Pittman who sold out to his brother Robert on Sept 1803 ?
Bradford is associated with James Savage in several land deals ONE
w\WITH SALE OF LOTS AROUND A MINERAL SPRING IN PUTNAM , GA .
Both James Savage and Thomas Bradford can be identified as the same menb
who migrated to Clarke co AL abt 1819. Savage was clerk of the circut
court in Clarke co Al from 1819 - 1832 when he moved to Sumter co AL and
was clerk there from 1832 -1837 at his death.
Thomas Bradford Bn 1757 , married Polly Hargraves on 1782 in Granville
co NC ( he is NOT part of the Granville Bradford Family) Thomas is
the father of Brazil Ransom Bradford , Thomas Madison Bradford ,
Nathaniel Thomas Bradford and Alice Bradford (Married James Savage) and
Mary Bradford ( married Andrew Deaton , in Clarke co AL 1819) all of
Clarke co AL.
