Elijah Bowles b.1751 was known as Capt. Elijah Bolles in the Rev. War.So who
is the missing link between John and Ann and the NH Bolles? Could it be
Solomon? Don't have anything on him in VA?

History of Richmond, NH: page 318 BOLLES
Among the first settlers 7 bearing the name of BOLLES appear, who came from
Rochester, MA., about 1790, viz.: Nathaniel, Solomon, Jonathan, John,
Elijah, David and Obed. Only Nathaniel, John and Elijah remained in town; of
these only the first two have descendants remaining therein. (all where
brothers but Obed he was the son of John BOLLES page 321)
