15 Dec 1817 session with Wm RENICK, James BIRD, Benja J McCALL present.

Thomas DUNCAN registered stock mark. Sally POINTEE bound to Labon JENNINGS.
Emancipation of of a "yellow coulored man", property of Joshua WINN Sr
proved by oaths of Henry MILLER and Paul SHERLEY. Clerk to bind William
RYAN to Isaac DAVIDSON to learn blacksmithing; boy was 17 years old as of
Aug 1817. Clerk to bind Garland RYAN (14 yrs old on the 7th of June past)
to Michael JONES to learn tanning. Major RYON's estate records returned.
John TAYLOR granted Administration on estate of Isaac TAYLOR, decd; bond
with B T ANDERSON.

Mathais LAIR, Elijah ALLEN, Charles MARTIN, John RODES & John MAYFIELD Sr
to view for a road from the Pilot Knob near Charles MARTIN's passing by
Simeon BUFORD's lower mill, intersecting road again near DENTON's in Warren
Co. John GARNETT allowed an ad quad damnum - Beaver Creek for a water grist
mill. John COLBERT appt overseer of a precinct of the Burkesville Rd from
Absalom HUGHES to Col Hugh BROWN's in room of Will SIDDENS. Alteration of
the Limestone Road where it passes through John GLASBROOK'S land returned.
B B WINN awarded ad quad damnum from an early meeeting, approved. Benjamin
NEWMAN appt Surveyor of the state road from Hayden TRIGG's old place to the
Dover Meeting House in room of Thomas DAVIDSON.

John SMTH, one of the executors of F LATTIMORE, decd, produced in court a
Negro man named Joe, who was emancipated by this will, discussed an
infirmity; security required; went bond with Jas RENNICK & Jno FOX.
Application of Wm T BUSH that Michael W HALL, John GARNETTE, Benj. CRENSHAW
and Cleborn HARLOW (any 3) attend when land is surveyed in the name of John
PHILLIPS on Beaver Creek to establish the lines and corners. In case of
Martin GRIDER vs BOWLES the following to be paid by Grider for testimony:
Colonel DICKINSON 1 day; Harman HOWARD, 1 day; Isaac JOHNSTON, 1 day; Mark
HIGH, 1 day. Claborn BOWLS to pay Nicholas ALLY, 1 day; Sary NORMAN, 1 day;
Wm T BOWLS, 1 day. Benja PULLAM's will offered - summons to issue for
witnesses, continued. Dan CURD made motion that the hands of R P BEAUCHAMP
and Lorany LESSENBERRY attend and work under him as surveyor of the
precinct of the state road from Glasgow to H. TRIGG's old place.

Summons to issue to Isaac ANDERSON and Patsy, his wife to appear at the
next court to see why they shouldn't give counter security re the estate of
James CLEMENTS decd to Vachel CLEMENTS and others, security. Claborn BOWES
vs Martin GRIDER - former judgment reversed. Summons issued by the Sheriff
of Green Co KY to summon Alexr McCANDLESS to appear at next court and prove
the last will of RIch'd WAGONER, decd. Thomas DUNCAN vs Jonathan DENTON -
former judgment confirmed. Jonathan DENTON to pay John O MORRISON for 1
days attendance as witness. Indenture from Saml ELL to William LOGAN
acknowledged. Inventory of estate of Joseph HAYS decd returned.

Tavern rates to be regulated as before. Mark HARDIN had published at the
courthouse door for 2 months and in the newspaper, a tract of land in
Barren Co which is supposed to be added to the city of Glasgow - north side
of Front Street; west side of Race St. He went bond with Thomas B MONROE &
William THOMPSON. Jas D SMITH appt constable in place of Isaac AKERS; bond
with Jacob SMITH & Joshua WELBOURN. Sale of estate of Nathan MARTIN
recorded. John FOX made motion that Jos WARDER Jr, Wm BOLES, Henry F
GREENWOOD, Jno WARDER & Jno GLOVER settle the estate of Francis LATTIMORE,
executor of estate of Wm SMITH.
