Briteny Kay Louise Souder, 5, of Paris died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at the
ShrinerÄôs Hospital in Galveston as a result of
burns received in a house fire.
Graveside services are scheduled at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Chicota
Cemetery with Rev. Ray Evers officiating. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of
the arrangements.
The family receives friends from 3-5 p.m. Friday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born April 25, 1999, to James Edward and Hazel Pauline Alexander
Souder. She was a student at T.G. Givens kindergarten and attended the Pathway
Church of God.
She is survived by her parents, Jimmy and Hazel Souder of Paris; two
brothers, Michael Parrish and Austin Souder of Paris; two sisters, Courtney and
Tiffany Souder of Mississippi; grandparents,
William and Patricia Parrish of Paris,
Stan and Brenda Morandi of Oklahoma, Dave and Diane McFeater of Eringer, Ky.
and Max and Vicki Sides of Oklahoma; great-grandparents, Troy and Pat Boles of
Arthur City and Mary and Harold Pruitte of Paris; three aunts, Kandi Jones of
Paris, Andrea Powell of Oklahoma, and Marlene Murphy of Roxton; twelve uncles,
Casey Jones, Paul Sides, David and Christopher Bannan and Christopher
Brunson, all of Paris, Jason Sides of Copeville,
Max Sides Jr., T.J. Sides and Justin
Powell of Oklahoma, Joey Clair of Kentucky, Thomas Souder of Mississippi and
Thomas Murphy of Roxton; and a great-aunt, Courtney Boles of Arthur City.
Pallbearers include Christopher Brunson, Casey Jones, David Bannan, Michael
Parrish, Christopher Bannan and Paul Sides.
