Hi, Margaret.
SILVER STREET:
So. Boston; from 146 Dorchester avenue to 29 G Street, near West Broadway
[from 'Boston' Record of Street/Street Laying-Out Department, 1910]
RC churches in So. Boston at that time were:
SS. Peter and Paul's church[rebuilt 1853], , St. Augustine's [reopened
after repairs 1848], Gate of Heaven [1863], and St. Gregory's, Dorchester
[1864] drew Catholics from So. Boston..

Please ask if more info is desired. Other posters may have some
addictions/corrections re So. Boston.

Does anybody know which what Catholic Church a family would have attended if
they lived at 147 Silver Street in the 1870s.
Thank you,
Margaret Kristich
