Hello -- Curiosity: my gr gr gr grandmother's surname was Boice
(Raritan/Middlebush area of NJ) but she descended from a Dutch immigrant to
New Netherland ("NN") by name of Buys whose name was Anglicized to Bice then
to Boice. Must I cite her complete pedigree in order to ask a question about
the original immigrant and her ancestor to NN?
