Hello All:

I received this marriage record today, and unfortunately it is not my Arthur Black. I hope it helps one of you in your research.

NYC Marr. Cert. # 1955
Arthur Black and Lily Esten (the handwriting is atrocious on this certificate - the name looks like Esten.)
Groom's addr: 1604 Madison Av.
Bride's addr: 1604 Madison Av.
He, age 26, she, age 18(?)
Both white
He, salesman, b. England, father Samuel or Lemuel, mother (cannot read given name) Eshen or Esten( related to bride?)
She, b. Russia, father Joseph, mother Yves (I think) Pollack or Pallack.
First marriage for each.
Marriage took place at 1783 Pacific St., Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 23, 1913. Rev. M. Steinberg presiding of 337 E. 82 St..
Witnesses: Max Davidson and Isador Lachman or Lightman.
