marshal black,fathers name was james o black,/mothers name mary ann, they moved to ga. in1856.marshall black married fannie smith in 1880 fannie smith died he remarried millisa shinall in 1894.marshal had two brothers walter d/ thomas w all farmers marshall had three daughters by fannie smith one was minnie black she married a harris she dissapeard on 1920 no trace of her some one said she was in tn and remarried a man called miles northern he has never been found or if there was a miles northern.she was full cherokee someone said she moved back to tn to be with the cherokees
