I am researching my Klein line and trying to learn more about Edward Black, b about 1885 in Iowa. He married Ella [Ellinore Louise] KLEIN about 4 August 1909 - believed to be in Nebraska - perhaps Callaway/Stop Table in Custer County, NE.

Ella [Ellinore Louise] KLEIN Black was born 22 Dec 1887 near Callaway/Stop Table, Custer Co., Nebraska to George A. and Caroline JUNGBLUTH Klein who moved to Nebraska from Wisconsin in about 1886.

They lived in the area of Cozad, Dawson Co., Nebraska much of their life together. They were in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska in 1910. , Ella died 8 March 1925 in Grand Island, NE but they were residents of Cozad, Nebraska at the time of her death. She is buried - alone - in the Cozad Cemetery.

I am trying to learn what became of Edward Black after the 1925 death of his wife Ella KLEIN Black. I am also searching for more about their children.

The Blacks had four children. Elva BLACK Adams was the only child surviving beyond infancy. She married Harold E. Adams - believed to be about 15 August 1929 - probably in Nebraska. Harold and Elva BLACK Adams were in the 1930 census in McCook, Red Willow County, Nebraska.

Elva BLACK Adams is reported to have died 18 December 1977. Her Husband, Harold E. Adams survived her. I am trying to also learn what children they had and what became of Harold E. Adams. It is believed - but unconfirmed - that Elva may have died in Seattle, King County, Washington.

I am anxious to learn more about this family!

Please email me if you know anything or have an interest in the same line.
