Dont know whether this is connected but I am trying to trace an Unknown BLACK b. Ireland, father of John, Robert, Milton and Charlotte. His wife was Betsey b. 1790 VA and they show in the 1850 TN Census without the father. Milton later moved to Missouri and then settled in Illinois. My unknown BLACK may have been a John Milton BLACK. If these names/places ring a bell please email.
