My GGG William Black, b. 16 Mar 1794 in KY or NC d. 7 Jun 1860, Rockcastle Co. KY. I have not been able to fine anything on his parents. There are pictures of his head stone at the Scaffoldcane Cemetery, Rockcastle Co. Ky. His wife Jane Metcalf b. 2 May 1803 d. 14 Feb 1899 also with a headstone at the same place. I have heard that there are Cherokee connections but I have not found anything that backs this information.
